Lightware Has Received TEMPEST Certification for Three Devices

We have achieved another major milestone in the AV industry: our MX2-8x8-HDMI20-CA, HDMI-3D-OPT-RX110DD, and HDMI-3D-OPT-TX210DD devices have received NATO SDIP 27 Level B TEMPEST compliance. This is a significant achievement for us, as it demonstrates our commitment to designing, developing and providing secure and reliable AV solutions to our global customers.

NATO SDIP 27 Level B TEMPEST compliance certification is a recognised security standard that is used by NATO and other organizations to ensure that electronic devices are resistant to eavesdropping and other forms of electronic espionage. The certification process involves testing the devices in a secure environment to ensure that they meet strict standards. Only devices that pass the rigorous testing process are awarded the TEMPEST compliance certification.

The MX2-8x8-HDMI20-CA, HDMI-3D-OPT-RX110DD, and HDMI-3D-OPT-TX210DD devices are designed for use in AV installations, where security at the Secret classification level is a high priority. The MX2-8x8-HDMI20-CA is a matrix switcher often used in Command and Control Rooms or classified meeting rooms that allows users to route HDMI signals between multiple sources and displays. The HDMI-3D-OPT-RX110DD, and HDMI-3D-OPT-TX210DD are one-way optical extenders that allow HDMI signals to be transmitted over long distances using fiber optic cables.
