What is Lightware’s TPS Extension?
We offer a Long Reach Mode, which extends the range to 150 meters while still supporting 1080p60. Lightware prioritizes providing diagnostic information to users. Additionally, most of our extenders feature Advanced EDID Management, audio embedding and de-embedding functions, and come with built-in Event Manager.
TPS goes beyond HDBaseT
TPS enhances HDBaseT by supporting HDMI 1.4, embedded audio, Ethernet, RS-232/IR control, and PoE, while Lightware adds 15kV ESD protection, steel enclosures, 150m Long Reach Mode, cable diagnostics, EDID management, audio processing, and an event manager for greater reliability and versatility.

The Event Manager is a smart, built-in, room control feature with most of the Lightware products. With this, you don’t have to deal with complicated controls, because the Event Manager gives you the exact amount of control you need.

With our solution for the Event Manager, the Miniweb Room Control Configurator is available through an HTML based webpage. There’s no need for another physical box, because it is already inside our devices, and it can be controlled by our very own smart phones.
