New feature: |
From this version on, product variant with 16 HDMI input ports and 8 HDMI output ports (MX2-16x8-HDMI20-Audio-R) is also supported.
From this version on, DisplayID is supported by the matrix and is passed on to the video source through the EDID. With the help of DisplayID, exotic dimensions (e.g. 7680 x 1080) not supported by regular EDID can also be set.
Bugfix: |
Fixed a bug that caused the input signal not to be recognized on a DisplayPort input after restarting the matrix.
Fixed a bug that resulted in signal flashing on the DisplayPort outputs.
Fixed a bug that resulted in the matrix not being accessible through ssh or through the embedded web.
Improved the reliability of the video port processors.
Improved on the error resilience of the DP output boards.
Known issue: |
Conversion to 422 does not work if the bit depth of the input video signal is equal to or greater than 10 bits/component.
The channel status information in the output HDMI stream erroneously reports 5 channel PCM when embedding audio through the analog audio input on the input side of the matrix.
The device label is not reset to its factory default value when the matrix is factory reset.
Downgrading from package version v1.7.0 might render the matrix inaccessible through LDC.
The DP output erroneously reports a frame rate of 30Hz for input signals having a frame rate of 60Hz and a sampling pattern of 4:2:0. Moreover, the color space information is missing for such input signals.
The EDID extension block that contains the DisplayID information is not exported when a dat format is selected for export. To circumvent the problem, use the bin format.
The incoming video is converted to DVI and any audio content is removed on the HDMI or DP input, if an EDID with DisplayID extension is selected for emulation to the connected video source.
When an EDID with DisplayID extension is emulated to the HDMI output by the connected sink, the output video signal is converted to DVI and any audio content is removed.
