Gergely tends to spot the future possibilities and the directions to move forward. This mindset was all along the way since the start of the company in 1998.
As Lightware became more well-known, so did our global presence. In the early 2010s the company opened its first two offices outside Hungary, in the United Kingdom and in the United States of America. In 2013 it was followed by the ones in Australia, Italy and Singapore, and two years later in the Netherlands, India and the United Arab Emirates.
Now, in 2023, 17 Lightware offices are operated in 4 continents, from Las Vegas to Singapore and from Gothenburg to Medellín, just to mention a few.
Parallel to this, Lightware’s products have also received noteworthy recognitions from the professional AV community. At ISE 2022, we received the Best of Show Award for Taurus UCX in the AV Technology category. At the end of 2022, our products also won two AV Awards: UBEX received the Event Technology of the Year award, and the Taurus UCX took home the trophy for the Collaboration Technology of the Year.
At ISE 2023, Lightware marked its 25-year anniversary with two Best of Show Awards for the UBEX and VINX AV-over-IP extenders. Meanwhile, at Infocomm 2023 our world premiere USB-C extension product – Taurus TPX (transmitter/receiver) – won the prestigious Best of the Show Award in the AV Technology category. Lightware was also rewarded with PSNI's Growth Driver Award based on the increasing sales activity inside their Preferred Vendor Program (PVP).
After achieving records like these and many others, the Lightware brand is now recognized as one of the industry's leading players. It is well-known on an international scale, and even our competitors eagerly anticipate the innovations we bring to the market. As for what the next 25 years hold for Lightware, we can't know for sure at this point, however, we hope that in a similar article series, we'll be able to showcase how far we've managed to progress.
Thank you for joining us and reading about the 25-year history of Lightware.
