New 3x3 Taurus TPX Receiver is Available
Lightware announces the availability of the latest 3x3 receiver variant of the Taurus TPX. One of the unique features is the ability to connect hosts on the receiver side, simplifying the integration of various devices into your AV setup.
This matrix switcher receiver is part of a transmitter-receiver configuration that provides the same functionality as the UCX product range in terms of signal management and connectivity. It also supports HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.1 Gen1 host connectivity for room equipment. With this device there’s a possibility you can control any type of USB device, such as camera, speakerphone, touch monitor, USB-HID devices etc., but this time you can connect them directly on the receiver side. This also means that it’s possible for the devices connected on the RX side to be accessed by the BYOD devices on the TX side, and the devices connected on the TX side can be accessed by, for example, a RoomPC connected on the RX side.
