SDVoE compatible HDMI 2.0 scaling receiver

The HDMI-TPX-RX107A-SR is a scaling receiver device based on SDVoE technology that allows users to receive HDMI 2.0 compliant video, audio, and control signals coming from a compatible SDVoE transmitter (like HDMI-TPX-TX209AK extender or the MX2M-4TPX-OB matrix board from Lightware) through a direct CAT6A copper connection.

Highlighted features

  • Offers scaling for format conversion and uninterrupted output
  • Allows for the transmission of HDMI 2.0 video, embedded audio, Ethernet, RS-232 and USB2.0 between an extender pair directly connected together
  • Can be remote powered through CATx cable (PoE PD)
  • Supports HDMI 4K signal formats (4K UHD @60Hz RGB 4:4:4, up to 18 Gbps)
  • HDR and Low Latency Dolby Vision support

The HDMI-TPX-RX107A-SR is a scaling receiver device based on SDVoE technology that allows users to receive HDMI 2.0 compliant video, audio, and control signals coming from a compatible SDVoE transmitter (like HDMI-TPX-TX209AK extender or the MX2M-4TPX-OB matrix board from Lightware) through a direct CAT6A copper connection.

Beyond the benefits of receiving high-resolution video with corresponding audio content through a distance of at most 100m, the HDMI-TPX-RX107A-SR is also able to handle various connectivity standards including a 1GbE user Ethernet channel over the TPX link, as well as command injection into RS-232.

The in-built scaler can cater for adjusting the video content to the format of the attached display. Moreover, the scaler is also able to handle glitches in the video arriving at the input of the corresponding transmitter by outputting an uninterrupted HDMI signal.

The Gigabit Ethernet ports are valuable additions allowing users to connect Ethernet capable devices to the corporate user network directly through the TPX extender. This is particularly useful for controlling external devices like projectors and displays.

Scaling Scaling to EDID preferred resoltion or custom resolution with the following limitations:
* When scaling is used, the scaler output is always RGB 8 bit/component.
* A picture with resolution of 3840 x 2160 cannot be scaled down to 640 x 480, 800 x 600, 960 x 1280, 1024 x 768, 1050 x 1400, or 1200 x 1600 when the aspect ratio is kept by utilizing letterbox.
* A picture with resolution of 4096 x 2160 cannot be scaled down to 640 x 480, 800 x 600, 960 x 1280, 1024 x 768, 1050 x 1400, 1200 x 1600, 1280 x 768, 1680 x 1050, or 1900x1200 when the aspect ratio is kept by utilizing letterbox.
* All standard VESA and CEA resolutions up to 600MHz (HDMI2.0) and other custom resolutions up to 600Mhz are supported.
