Lightware Visual Engineering is highlighting the capabilities of its UBEX AV-over-IP devices at InfoComm India 2022, taking place on 5 - 7 September at the Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai.
Lightware will host a UBEX Demo Station at booth #C47, to showcase the unrivalled versatility and power of the award-winning UBEX 10G AV-over-IP system, including live demonstrations of UBEX applications for Fighter Aircraft Pilot Training Simulator and Esports Car Racing Simulation.
UBEX will be shown operating with zero frame latency, providing seamless switching and lossless reproduction of source signals of up to 4K60Hz 4:4:4.
Demo #1 Flight Simulator
The Flight Simulator is a tailored made solution for training fighter pilots including inVirtual Geo terrain, sea and Air to Air missions. All video signals from the image generators are streamed over the UBEX platform to extend uncompressed video up to 4K 60Hz with zero delay and zero latency – mission critical in flight sim environments.
Attendees to the Lightware UBEX Demo will see how the Pilot Trainer is able to switch the trainee simulator screen to the main large display and take control of the station via the USB KVM feature of the joystick controls.
The trainer can also talk to the trainee pilots during the mission via intercom utilising the UBEX Ethernet pass through features.
Demo #2 F1 Car Racing Simulator
Lightware will demonstrate an F1 Gaming Sim giving the audience a dynamic viewing experience in real time on large viewing screens.
Attendees will be able to see the participating gamers screens as well as the multiplayer tournament game mode screen in a large screen format in real time with zero delay and zero latency.
The gamers can interact with their team coaches, team players, analysts and referees using the UBEX platform in real time. The UBEX AV Over IP system is shown supporting uncompressed video transmission up to 4K resolution with higher refresh rates to match the actual esports video frame rates for a fully immersive gaming experience.
UBEX provides unlimited scalability in terms of the end points for video distributions, transceiver features along with USB KVM and an Ethernet pass through for intercom applications for esports teams who require extensive collaboration for critical decision making during the competition.
Lightware will feature several other demos of new and enhanced professional A/V solutions at Infocomm India, including the ongoing integrations with Cisco combined with the Taurus UCX universal matrix switcher series. Attendees can also expect showcases for MX2M, Taurus UCX and the VINX series of AV-over-IP devices for 1G Ethernet networks.
“The professional AV/IT landscape is constantly changing, with an increasing emphasis on network connectivity, remote access, interactive collaboration and immersive experiences,” said Gergely Vida, CEO at Lightware Visual Engineering. “We are excited to be present at Infocomm India and for attendees to experience our latest technology innovations and comprehensive solutions designed for every application, requirement and budget– a demonstration of our end-to-end support for the AV industry.”
